Don’t ever look back

Don’t ever look back.
No matter how bad time had held you in its grasp,
Be content that you escaped its petty little trap.

Look at the opportunities that lie ahead,
Behold them from the face of the earth
And let them kneel in front of you.

Because if one door closes behind
There are 10 Β more waiting by your side.
Let the bygones be bygones,
Come out and see what the colorful world owns!

Don’t fill your self with remorse,
Strive ahead with a better cause.
Remember, if life gives you a hundred reasons to cry
Show life that you’ve got a thousand reasons to smile.

And when autumn comes,
can spring be far behind?
So take the chance and don’t ever look back!

This is a beautiful poem Khushboo, very passionate and forthright. You have great skill in writing!

Letting go and acknowledging the options of the present, being grateful for our good fortune and reminding ourselves that the brighter things in life are just around the corner – all of these things spring to mind.

I really enjoyed reading it, it is a wonderful piece of work and thank you for brightening the day with your positive message!! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you for the kind words Rich πŸ™‚ It’s a pleasure for me to have posted one of my little piece of writing on your blog. It’s hugely appreciated.
I hoped all those things would spring to the reader’s mind, I’m glad it worked!
I stole those lines of thousand reasons to smile from a song, I thought they would suit here!
Will be hearing more from you!! πŸ™‚
